[When Jaskier does arrive home, there are things waiting. They include a new batch of pierogi - half mushroom stuffed, the other stuffed with potato and cheese in an herbed dough, jugged hare in three small pots to make reheating in portions easier, a soup made of tomato and cucumber with the note serve chilled, additional chicken broth with finely diced vegetables inside, and a tart filled with late peaches in a jammy mess, dusted with powdered sugar.

It is a bit later on from its initial delivery that the basket is returned to the front of Alucard's cave, with a note placed inside. It's rather thick from the outside, and when opened there is a careful stack of bookmarks with pressed, dried flowers inside.
The note reads, I've already thanked you in person, but you deserve a gift of your own. You spoil us terribly.
Jaskier does, of course, sign. And next to his signature is a giant pawprint like that of a cat's back paw dipped in ink.
The "us" may not have even involved Geralt or Ciri (it did, of course. But also one other.)]
