If we're being honest, "well" is sincerely pushing how I feel. Mayhaps it is even a lie. But I must believe it for now.
[Not that he means to unburden on one he barely knows at all, but that Hythlodaeus even thought to reach out to him... it has made him more willing to be truthful. He never would have expected one he'd so little interaction with to even think of him in such a time. At least, not beyond the chance to use him for information.]
I share such similar consternation. At this junction, I believe we Summoned must do what we can to take care of ourselves. Beyond that... I am not sure we will find out who is behind such acts. It may also be something we must do ourselves.
I will do what I can. Unfortunately I am not a soldier nor a warrior, and there is naught much I can do but pray things do not escalate... even if I believe otherwise.
