Hello, Jaskier, we haven't met yet, but I'm a friend of Sam's, currently in Thorne. He mentioned you were one of the best people to speak to in the Free Cities with a good awareness of what was happening.
Sam's tasked me with trying to keep lines of communication open between all of us, despite being at a distance. Especially when things we uncover might be of more use to someone in one of the other factions. If you come across anything important, would you mind reaching out to share it?

The offering is squeezed, the product of efforts made over many hours. The design inspiration is also similarly thought through, although its been via observation that he's come to its pattern and design instead of sweat effort.
The gloves he brings — his ninth pair (and only the third of a quality he approves, and second to this household) — have suffered the rigors of Blake's amateur nature, but he'll present them nonetheless. Dyed a dandelion color at first, they've been re-dyed to a deep marroon and bear a few patches of overspread that deepen the seams but otherwise warms the palette. They're supple and reach the wrist, with a single stained wooden button and braided loop to fasten over the pulsepoint. Around the cuff is a punched pattern — a fine, but simple design — added specifically for the bard's tastes. Unlike Geralt's gloves, there will be no concern as to whether they'll fit, as Blake's already asked around the city for a few of the man's choice measurements.

[the gift arrives to jaskier via courier. the package is wrapped in plain brown paper, tied with green-dyed twine and adorned with a sprig of cypress. inside is a dark green wool cloak, and the collar and hem are stitched with delicate whorls in golden thread that, when inspected closely, are actually a staff with notes to a popular cadens tune (it may or may not be one of jaskier's own, and there is no way to tell if diana knew this beforehand). the lining is gold-dyed satin, with several clever little pockets sewn into it that can be used to hold all manner of things, and there are a few more sprigs of cypress tucked into them when it arrives. with the cloak is a note written in an elegant hand:]

( The parcel that arrives from Thorne contains two things: the first a pair of cufflinks in gold, with a red gem set into them. It is simple, with no real ornate decorations beyond the gemstone, but the craftsmanship is excellent. The second gift is a sash to tie around one's waist, in a bright crimson, with gold embroidery. The imagery of the phoenix is present, along with the spiraling branches of a tree and jewelwhisps, the gold of the thread changing to a metallic hue for the insects. Golden tassels hang off the ends as well; the thread soft to the touch, as is the fabric.
